If you didn't necessarily believe the glowing first reviews of 'The Adventures of Tintin' from across the pond -- specifically the parts about how the Steven Spielberg-directed film owes a large debt to the director's work in the Indiana Jones franchise -- start believing. The second trailer for the film has arrived, and it basically looks like 'Raiders of the Lost Ark' and 'Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade' stuffed into a motion capture leotard. No worries about the uncanny valley here! Robert Zemeckis, start taking notes.
Featuring Jamie Bell, Andy Serkis and Daniel Craig, and written by Edgar Wright and Joe Cornish ('Attack the Block'), 'The Adventures of Tintin' hits theaters on Dec. 23. If you can't wait until then, book a ticket to the UK; 'Tintin' debuts overseas later this month.
