On 'Mad Men,' Jared Harris plays Lane Pryce, a mild-mannered upper-cruster who falls in love with America by way of the Playboy Club. If only his Professor Moriarty in 'Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows' was so easily swayed. The evil educator is a formidable villain in for Sherlock (Robert Downey Jr.) and Watson (Jude Law) -- or at least that's what we're told in the new trailer for this future December blockbuster. Which is a good thing for the franchise. After all, do you even remember what Mark Strong was doing in the first 'Sherlock Holmes'? (You don't.)
So, Moriarty wants to end Western Civilization and only Holmes, Watson and The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo new co-star Noomi Rapace can stop him. Cool enough. If you don't blink in the beginning of the trailer, you'll spy original 'Holmes' Girl Rachel McAdams, who makes a brief appearance in the sequel. Odds she dies before the title card?

Watch the trailer in HD over at Apple. 'Game of Shadows' arrives on Dec. 16.
