Lana and Andy Wachowski -- the auteurs behind the 'Matrix' trilogy as well as 'Speed Racer' and 'Bound' -- are reportedly set to return to the science fiction realm. Deadline reports the Wachowskis have set up 'Jupiter Ascending' at Warner Bros., an original idea the siblings hatched with eyes on production starting in the spring of 2012. That sound you just heard was every agent running to the phone to call Warner Bros. on behalf of their clients.
Last year, the Wachowskis were reportedly involved with something called 'Cobalt Neutral 9,' which would incorporate "found footage" of a United States Marine named Butch, his gay Iraqi lover and their plot to assassinate George W. Bush. Per Deadline, the siblings had trouble putting together financing for that film (no kidding), and moved on to 'Jupiter.'

The Wachowskis are currently filming portions of 'Cloud Atlas,' an adaptation of David Mitchell's centuries-spanning novel. Their last film was the notorious flop 'Speed Racer' in 2008.
