Things we learned from a new ET interview with Eddie Murphy: 1.) 'Tower Heist' was partially his idea. 2.) Hosting the Oscars was his idea. 3.) He predicts he's going to be the worst Oscars host of all time. At least he has a sense of humor about the gig, including the fact that he walked out after his 2007 loss as a nominee. "I promise I'll stay there all night," Murphy said during a press conference for 'Tower Heist.' He also joked he'll end the evening by urinating all over himself. Classy! The Academy probably just had a collective heart attack.
Murphy announced at the press conference for the Brett Ratner-directed movie that he's not nervous. "Oscars is a fun thing to do," he said. "I don't feel the pressure. I get to introduce people and stand up straight. Maybe I'll be in a couple silly sketches or something." He's waiting for nominees to be announced to work on any Oscar jokes, he says.

The 84th annual Academy Awards will take place Feb. 26 and 'Tower Heist' opens Nov. 4.
