Robert De Niro is like the Martin Scorsese of actors; dude's attached to star in pretty much every project coming out of Hollywood in the next three years. Already set to make appearances in 'Red Lights,' 'The Wedding,' 'Silver Linings Playbook' and 'The Comedian,' De Niro has affixed himself to 'Killing Season' opposite John Travolta. Directed by the inimitable Mark Steven Johnson ('Daredevil,' 'Ghost Rider'), 'Season' focuses on a reclusive military veteran (De Niro), whose idyllic life of seclusion is interrupted when a European tourist (Travolta; presumably with a hilarious accent) arrives from the veteran's past. (Deadline has the press release for 'Killing Season,' which seems to include some fairly significant spoilers.)
Nu Image/Millennium Films and Corsan Pictures will produce. "We're excited to be co-financing and co-producing this film with Corsan, and to be working again with Robert De Niro and John Travolta," said Nu Image/Millennium head Avi Lerner. "We've never seen these two great actors on screen together before, and we're excited to see what comes of the combination."

De Niro and Travolta are currently working with Millennium on 'The Wedding' and 'The Expendables 2,' respectively.
