Take out your biggest grains of salt for this one, but: according to Twitch -- the website that broke the news about Josh Brolin starring in the 'Oldboy' remake -- 'Breaking Dawn' star Kristen Stewart has been offered the female lead in the Warner Bros. reboot of 'Akira.' If Stewart were to sign on, she'd co-star opposite her 'On the Road' companion Garrett Hedlund in the Jaume Collet-Sera-directed film.
Gary Oldman and Helena Bonham Carter are also in various stages of negotiations for 'Akira,' while Ezra Miller was reportedly on the short list of possibilities for the other male lead opposite Hedlund.

Stewart is next seen in this little movie you may have heard of called 'Breaking Dawn.' She'll also star in next June's 'Snow White and the Huntsman.'
