George Clooney is great. He's also a loyal friend. He just told the LA Times that -- in addition to the much-buzzed-about 'The Artist' -- one of his favorite movies of the year stars a good buddy of his. Could it be 'Drive,' featuring his 'Ides of March' co-star Ryan Gosling? (Sorry, Gos. You lose again.) Or 'Contagion,' with 'Ocean's 11' pal Matt Damon? Well, his other 2011 favorite does feature an 'Ocean's' castmate, but it's not Don Cheadle in the little-seen indie 'The Guard.' Give up?
"You know what [else] I just saw that I really liked," Clooney told the Times. "I thought I'd like it anyway because they're all friends of mine -- but I really liked 'Moneyball.' You know I'm still a baseball nut. It's really good. Brad [Pitt] is one of those actors that I think is always sort of underestimated ... and the truth is he's really good in that movie." Besides Pitt, the movie co-stars Philip Seymour Hoffman, who's also in 'The Ides of March,' and Jonah Hill.

And there you have it. But what's Pitt's favorite movie? He's got at least two Clooneys to choose from, but we're going to guess he'd go with Angelina Jolie's directorial debut 'In the Land of Blood and Honey.'
