Do we finally know when the trailer for 'The Hobbit' is debuting? If Elijah Wood is telling the truth, then yes. During an interview for his current movie, 'Happy Feet Two,' Wood spoke to Digital Spy about his experience returning to the Middle Earth universe, what it was like stepping back into the shoes feet of Frodo Baggins, and when fans can possibly expect the trailer for first the 'Lord of the Rings' prequel.
"It was like a family reunion in a way. So many of the crew and some of the cast were working on 'The Lord of the Rings' as well," said Wood. "It was kind of emotional, I didn't really anticipate that. It was a huge part of my life, so to go back in that wardrobe again and see my feet, it was kind of surreal."

As for that 'Hobbit' trailer, Wood said that he hadn't seen it yet, but thinks it will be released in front of Steven Spielberg's 'The Adventures of Tintin,' which hits theaters Dec. 21. That film was co-produced by 'Hobbit' director Peter Jackson.

As for 'The Hobbit,' the first part hits theaters on Dec. 14, 2012. The second part will debut Dec. 13, 2013.
