Last week, Rooney Mara was quoted as telling Allure magazine that her time as a guest star on 'Law & Order: SVU' was "so awful" and "so stupid." Burn! But did Mara actually say those nasty things about the Dick Wolf-produced mega-franchise? Not really, at least according to Mara herself.
"First of all, the 'SVU' thing -- that's just not true," Mara told Huffington Post. "That was my first job. It couldn't have been more exciting for me. It's an experience I hold very dear to my heart. People take things out of context, and that's just not the case. I was more nervous doing that job than I was doing ['Dragon Tattoo']."

Mara was quoted by Allure as saying that 'SVU' was anything but something she holds near and dear. "People are obsessed with that show. I don't get it," she said.

Mara can be seen in 'The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo' in theaters on Tuesday. For more from the up and coming star, head over to Huffington Post. For more from 'Dragon Tattoo' director David Fincher, click here.
