Hopefully this doesn't make the wait at The Meatball Shop any longer. Page Six reports that following the New York premiere of 'Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol' on Monday night, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes snuck away to grab dinner at The Meatball Shop's new West Village location. Apparently, the star couple was surrounded by "stunned" fans -- though maybe those people were just trying to figure out how Cruise was able to forgo the long wait that accompanies any visit to the delicious meat and sauce mecca. (There are no reservations.)
Co-owned by Daniel Holzman and Michael Chernow, The Meatball Shop is a self-described "choose your own adventure" dining experience. Patrons can pick from a variety of meatball and sauce flavors -- everything from classic beef to parmesan cream.

Wrote Holzman to Cruise on Twitter following star couple's appearance, "Hope you liked the balls." Zinger! But they really do just call the meatballs "balls" at Meatball Shop. It's on the website and everything.

Cruise stars in 'Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol,' which is out in theaters now.
