The Iron Man suit might be getting an upgrade: Heels! According to Us Weekly (via the New York Post), Robert Downey Jr. is adding lifts for 'Iron Man 3.' "They're working on a special pair just for him," a source told the celeb magazine, and that the lifts would be concealed in boots. Why in the next Iron Man movie and not 'The Avengers?' At 5'8", the actor certainly isn't the tallest in the 'Avengers' cast. That would be mighty Thor, Chris Hemsworth, at 6'3", as we've seen in shots of the actors on the set. At least Downey appears to be taller than Mark Ruffalo, who is also reportedly 5'8".
Downey previously told Men's Fitness that he had doubts about becoming an action hero, partly due to his height. "I've always really enjoyed that genre, but I mean, it's pretty outlandish. I'm not particularly tall or strong or fast or aggressive. Yet, I'm not faking it. To me, it's a cosmic chuckle."

As is this whole story, probably.
