Hugh Jackman is really taking this stage thing seriously. According to Deadline, the actor is set to play Harry Houdini in an upcoming Broadway musical written by Aaron Sorkin. Of course, Jackman is no stranger to singing -- he just finished a 10-week run of his one-man show, 'Hugh Jackman, Back on Broadway,' and is set to star in the upcoming adaptation of 'Les Miserables,' along with Russell Crowe, Anne Hathaway and Sacha Baron Cohen.
So, why a Houdini musical? As the 'Wolverine' star (hey, remember when this guy played a bad-ass mutant?) admits, he has "been deeply fascinated by the life of Harry Houdini since [he] was young."

Jackman already portrayed a magician in the 2006 film, 'The Prestige.' So, just think: 'Prestige' + 'Hugh Jackman, Back on Broadway' = 'Houdini.'
