Ewan McGregor in a romantic comedy? You're probably thinking: Well, this could end badly. The movie's title, "Salmon Fishing in the Yemen," probably doesn't quell your skepticism.

But the truth of the matter is "Salmon Fishing" is actually a delight, and leads McGregor and co-star Emily Blunt have an easy and relatable chemistry, while Amr Waked and industry vet Kristin Scott Thomas add to the robust cast. "Salmon Fishing" brought the house down at its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival with a packed theater -- and a long-lasting standing ovation.

Moviefone caught up with McGregor at the film festival, where he happily chatted about the movie, how he accidentally "hooked" his dog in real life, and how Kristin Scott Thomas stole the film. He also finally shut down any rumors about a "Trainspotting" sequel.
