Happy 40th Birthday to Kristen Wiig! The hilarious "Bridesmaids" star was born in Canandaigua, N.Y. on August 22, 1973. After making her debut on "Saturday Night Live" in 2005, she went on to become the only star nominated for four Supporting Actress Emmys in a row. She continued to break new ground by writing the smash hit "Bridesmaids," which earned $288 million, boosting not only her own career, but that of fellow comedian Melissa McCarthy.
Wiig left "SNL" in 2012, so we can only look forward to more of her on the big screen, including the upcoming "Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues." (Sorry, she's said no to "Bridesmaids 2.") Let's toast the birthday girl by reliving some of her funniest moments.
