Liam Hemsworth and fiancee Miley Cyrus have called it quits.
Representatives for the pair confirmed the split to People Monday, following a roller coaster betrothal. The couple first met on the set of 2010's "The Last Song," and got engaged in May 2012.
But "Hunger Games" star Hemsworth and pop songstress Cyrus postponed their wedding earlier this year, and Cyrus stepped out several times without her engagement ring, including after Hemsworth was reportedly seen getting cozy with "X-Men" star January Jones after the Oscars. They reunited this summer on the set of Hemsworth's new film, "Cut Bank," and walked the red carpet together in August to promote "Paranoia."
Apparently the last-ditch effort to salvage their relationship didn't work, though. In some ironic timing, a Harper's Bazaar interview with Cyrus was just released today, and in it the singer seemed hopeful about her and Hemsworth's future union.
"I definitely don't have time to deal with a wedding right now. But I will at some point," she told the magazine.
