Forget about Dr. Frasier Crane and Sideshow Bob; Kelsey Grammer is getting tough.
The TV star is this close to joining the tough-guy cast of "The Expendables 3" as Bonaparte, "an ex-mercenary who helps the Expendables in their mission."
It was rumored that Nicolas Cage would snag the role, but the final cast list has been locked and loaded -- as far as we know. Previous "surprise" Expendables include Bruce Willis and Arnold Schwarzenegger, and as we all know, the Governator went on to play a major role in the sequel and is on board for the third go-round as well. (As has been widely reported, Willis isn't returning.) Will Cage appear in "E3," or will we be forced to snuggle our Nicolas Cage pillows in despair?
This isn't the first time Grammer has been tapped to be slightly badass. His character in the Starz show "Boss" was ruthless enough to attract the attention of one Michael Bay, who hired him to play the big bad in "Transformers: Age of Extinction."
