Will Ferrell is one of those guys whose mere presence is enough to send most red-blooded humans into a wild fit of hysterics. So it's unsurprising that his new ad campaign for the Dodge Durango, which serves as a weird corporate tie-in to his highly anticipated "Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues" (out this Christmas), is totally insane and hilarious.

We don't want to ruin the gag too much (watch a few of the commercials below), but the joke is centered around the fact that Ron Burgundy, Ferrell's "Anchorman" alter ego, is from the '70s and is clearly shilling a car in 2013. So if you like jokes about luxurious glove compartments and his inability to pronounce the acronym MPG, well, this is for you. Please alert the proper authorities, as well, if you notice any dancers squatting in rafters.

"Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues" reteams Ferrell with his original "Anchorman" costars Steve Carell, Paul Rudd, David Koechner, Chris Parnell, and Christina Applegate (Luke Wilson and Vince Vaughn return for cameos), alongside new cast members Kristen Wiig, James Marsden, Harrison Ford, and Dylan Baker. It's out on December 20th. Stay classy, planet earth.
