With the enormous success of Marvel's movies, speculation over future comic-book adaptations is endless.

The next property in the spotlight is "Ant-Man," one of Marvel's lesser-known heroes. Director Edgar Wright stoked fans' fire by tweeting a tantalizing glimpse at the movie. But just who will play the titular character? Rumors first swirled around Joseph Gordon-Levitt, who denied them. Then, Paul Rudd's name was linked to the role.
Now comes word from Superhero Movie News that Rashida Jones is being eyed to play Ant-Man's wife and sidekick, Janet Van Dyne, aka The Wasp.
"Janet will be a love interest and a major supporting character," a source tells the site. "We would see multiple references to her future as The Wasp throughout the film."
The pairing of Rudd and Jones makes total sense; they've exhibited a lot of chemistry in two previous movies, "I Love You, Man" and "Our Idiot Brother."
Of course, this is all still just rumor. Though Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige did allude to the possibility of Rudd as Ant-Man in an interview with The Huffington Post.
"Well, nothing is true yet," he said coyly. "I like Paul Rudd, too."
Official word should be coming soon; the "Ant-Man" release date has been moved up to July 31, 2015.
