Oscar Isaac is no gentleman in "In Secret," an upcoming period drama based on the 1867 Emile Zola novel "Therese Raquin."
The film stars Elizabeth Olsen as Therese, a young woman unhappily married to her pale cousin, Camille (Tom Felton, "Harry Potter"'s Draco Malfoy). Together, Therese, her husband/cousin, and his mother, Madame Raquin (Jessica Lange), move to Paris, where Felton's charms (or lack thereof) can't compete against those of dashing Laurent (Isaac), a bold man who isn't afraid to touch Therese ... and then some.
As laid bare in the following trailer, things don't go well for hapless Camille, and Madame Raquin rightly suspects foul play. If we've learned anything from all three seasons of "American Horror Story," it's that you don't want to find yourself on Lange's bad side.
"In Secret," formerly known as "Therese," hits the big screen on February 21, 2014. In the meantime, you can catch Isaac in a very different (read: less murdery) role in the Coen brothers' "Inside Llewyn Davis," now in theaters.
