"Daredevil" has found its Kingpin: Vincent D'Onofrio is set to portray the villain in Marvel's upcoming Netflix series.
D'Onofrio will play Wilson Fisk, described as "a powerful businessman whose interests in the future of Hell's Kitchen will bring him into conflict with the blind attorney Matt Murdock and his alter ego Daredevil." The actor joins the previously cast Charlie Cox ("Boadwalk Empire"), who's playing Murdock/Daredevil.
The 13-episode "Daredevil" series will launch on Netflix sometime in 2015. The Marvel property was previously made into a 2003 feature starring Ben Affleck, which also produced a 2005 spinoff, "Elektra," starring Jennifer Garner.
"Daredevil" will be Marvel's third TV series, with "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." back for another season on ABC next fall, and "Agent Carter," a "Captain America" spinoff, set to debut mid-season on the network.
