NBC seems to be working hard to populate its upcoming "Heroes" reboot, "Heroes Reborn," with plenty of familiar faces from the original series, and that casting pattern continues with the addition of Greg Grunberg to the ensemble.

Entertainment Weekly reports that Grunberg, who played telepathic detective Matt Parkman on the original show, is set to reprise his role on "Reborn." According to EW, his involvement is being described as a "guest arc," so it's unclear at this point just how big of a part he will play in the new series (or how many episodes he'll appear in).

So far, Grunberg's fellow "Heroes" alums Chuck"), who's playing an undisclosed role.

There's a lot of secrecy surrounding the show right now (check out the series's first, extremely short teaser for proof of that), but it seems that it's shoring up enough of the original cast to interest old fans, while attracting new ones in the process. Consider our curiosity piqued.

"Heroes Reborn" will debut sometime this fall on NBC.
