In "The Good Dinosaur," Arlo the Apatosaurus may lose his family, but he finds new friends to make up for it.

Pixar unveiled a new trailer for the upcoming movie, which gives more insight into the prehistoric world that Arlo (voiced by Raymond Ochoa) inhabits. As previous teasers laid out, this is Earth if an asteroid never hit it and wiped out dino-kind. Thus, dinosaurs are intelligent and can talk.

After a flash flood separates Arlo from his family, the young Apatosaurus has to embark on an arduous journey to reunite with them. Along the way, he befriends a human boy and even finds mentors in a trio of T-rexes. Carnivores and herbivores getting along ... who woulda thunk it?
Like the first couple of teasers, the trailer is breathtakingly beautiful. The backgrounds are incredibly photo-realistic; this is Pixar, after all. But now, we get more of Arlo speaking, the human boy's behavior (he acts more like a puppy), and other dinosaur characters, like a pet-hoarding Triceratops. The tone is very cute, feel-good, and heartwarming, and we have no doubt we'll be crying like babies when we see it.

"The Good Dinosaur" opens Nov. 25. This will mark the first time Pixar will (likely) compete against itself in the Best Animated Feature category at the Oscars, since they released the acclaimed "Inside Out" this summer.
