There are bound to be plenty of bombshells awaiting "Gilmore Girls" fans when the upcoming Netflix revival series, "Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life," hits the streaming service in November. While it's anyone's guess what's in store for our favorite Stars Hollow residents, a new photo from the new episodes is teasing at least one major reveal that has even the central characters reeling.

The image comes courtesy of the folks at TVLine, and features Lorelai (Lauren Graham) and Luke (Scott Patterson) taking in a flick at the Black-White-Read Bookstore, a classic Stars Hollow pastime. But while Lorelai usually enjoys talking to whoever she's attending a screening with, this time she's on her cell phone, and judging from the shocked expression on her face, she's just gotten some big news.

Lorelai shoots Luke a look, and her longtime partner points to himself, indicating that the news involves him somehow. The rest of the moviegoers -- who include Lane (Keiko Agena) and Andrew (Mike Gandolfi) -- seem nonplussed, though as TVLine points out, longtime projectionist Kirk (Sean Gunn) is probably lurking nearby, none too thrilled by a cell phone interrupting the proceedings.

So what could this shocking phone call entail? And who is on the other end of the line? As with the other photos released so far, we don't have too much to go on yet, but you can bet we'll be guessing about its meaning right up until the first episode debuts.

"Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life" premieres on Netflix on November 25.
