Hollywood Fashion Trends - July

    Model for Hire

Scarlett Johansson unveiled her new campaign as the spokesperson for clothing company Mango in Madrid, Spain. Her fabulous day-to-evening ensemble -- including a blue silk top and black high-waisted skirt -- was from the line. Now that's good advertising.

    Naughty and Nice

It's black and white, it's tough and girly -- Emma Watson's Proenza Schouler dress at the NYC premiere of the latest 'Harry Potter' flick is perfection. Simple makeup and accessories and a grown-up blown-out 'do help her work her magic on style skeptics once again.

    Color Splash

Thandie Newton is definitely not afraid of color. The star looks radiant in a Matthew Williamson silk rainbow watercolor number at the Serpentine Gallery's summer party in London, adding an extra pop with red lips, a metallic belt, jeweled clutch and bootie sandals.

    Fall Into 'Summer'

Kate Mara does a bang-up job matching her Nanette Lepore dress to her bright auburn tresses at a screening of '(500) Days of Summer' in NYC, but we can't help thinking that the look is a little heavy, especially paired with her white platform heels and purse.

    Sky's the Limit

Christina Ricci gets a bright, shiny summer makeover, finishing off this robin's egg blue short-sleeved satin dress at the Outfest opening night party in L.A. with lighter locks, dewy makeup and classic black peeptoe heels. Being single agrees with her.

    Prints Charming

Emma Watson is stunning -- and age-appropriate -- in a vintage Ossie Clark printed chiffon dress at the world premiere of 'Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince' in London. Even in a torrential downpour, the lovely Miss Watson is a ray of sunshine.

    Blinded by the White

OK, we get it that Diddy is particular about partygoers' attire at his annual White Party in L.A., but the combo of Ashton Kutcher and wife Demi Moore (in a fab eyelet Andrew Gn number) going pale on the white carpet is so bright, it's no wonder they're wearing shades.

    Blue, Sans Group

Kristin Davis, flying solo between 'Sex and the City' flicks at a Vitamin Water event in Australia, could've used a little fashion honesty from her gal pals -- this blue silk moiré Brian Reyes dress just doesn't flatter her curves, and that necklace needs to go back to the costume jewelry department.

    Back in Black

What in the world has happened to Taraji P. Henson? The adorable 'Benjamin Button' Oscar nominee shows off her dark side -- and her backside -- in this goth, one-sleeved backless Kaufman Franco gown at the 2009 BET Awards in L.A. Her new mullet-ish 'do isn't helping matters either.

    French Connection

Oscar winner Marion Cotillard is stunning in a funnel-neck printed Elie Saab dress and shimmery satin Jimmy Choo peeptoes at the L.A. Film Festival premiere of 'Public Enemies.' No wonder she gets to work with some of Hollywood's hottest men.

Stella McCarthy's dress is a Hareem, very fashionable to those with taste, not scankie like most of the hoes that comment or those hoe lover skank *******, that have no taste, just show off colours well because they are dark toned.

Emma Stone's dress would look really nice on an eight year old for Easter Sunday. However, for what they price is bound to be don't you think they could afford to run the lining down a little further? It's not JUST the pocket that is showing through.

What's with these stars? With all of their money, why don't they wear stockings? Also, they can act in movies, but not pose for a still photo. Some look like dogs!!

I can handle most of the dresses, but the hairstyles are so ratty and ugly and unflattering. Even if I could afford it, I would never pay a Hollywood "stylist" to make my hair look like it is tangled and dirty. I wish this trend would end.

I might not be a judge but most those of the woman have very ugly knees and some of those shoes do not match the dresses. Their hair look terrible. I guess I am old fashion.
