Arthur Hoerl

- American writer/producer/director Arthur Hoerl began his movie career in 1924. One of Hoerl's handful of directorial credits of the 1930s was Drums o' Voodoo (1934), a fascinating low-budget melodrama targeted at all-black audiences.
