Biography Bud Smith

Film editor Bud Smith has cut many a feature during his long career and most frequently collaborated with William Friedkin. Before entering the film industry, Smith was a race car driver and twice won the Pacific Coast Championship. In 1983, he earned a British Academy Award for his work on Flashdance. In 1988, Smith made his directorial debut with Johnny Be Good.
