Biography Féodor Atkine

Russian-Polish actor Fedore Atkine has been popping up in European films, predominantly French, since the late 1960s. Atkine was seen as Mikhael in Woody Allen's Love and Death (1975); as the Spanish-dance instructor in Philip Kaufman's Henry & June (1991); and as Manuel in Pedro Almodovar's High Heels (1992). Followers of the French director Eric Rohmer will recall Feodor Atkine as Henri, one of Amanda Langlet's ardent summertime suitors, in Pauline at the Beach (1983).
