Biography
Film editor Frederic Steinkamp got his start as an apprentice at MGM in the early '50s. By 1960, he had become a full-fledged editor. In 1969, he began a fruitful collaboration with Sydney Pollack. Steinkamp's son, William, became an editor and teamed up with his father during the '80s.
