Biography
Since 1960, screenwriter Tonino Guerra has been one of the most prolific contributors to the Italian cinema. Guerra has written for such influential filmmakers as Vittorio de Sica, Federico Fellini, Francesco Rosi, Mario Monicelli and the Taviani brothers. Beginning with L'Avventura, his most frequent collaborator has been Michelangelo Antonioni. Tonino Guerra has received Oscar nominations for his work on Monicelli's Casanova 70 (1965) and Antonioni's Blow-Up (1967).
