All you people who said that Twilight was an "embarrassment" are just jealous.
Not trying to offend anybody, but it was one of the best movies I've seen in a while. And no, I'm not a teenager, either.
Everyone who said the acting was terrible,
why don't you go out there and try to act as good as them, because I can assure you, they're gonna be A LOT better than you when it comes to acting.
It's not that easy to portray a role as Edward or Bella.
The movie, itself, was great, and of course, they CAN'T MAKE IT EXACTLY LIKE THE BOOK! Get that through your head people! There wasn't enough money for it, or time. None of the movies based on books are exactly like the books. For example, Harry Potter. The book is obviously way more descriptive than the movies, and same goes for Twilight. It bugs me how people get so mad about Twilight, because it was amazing.
And RIP, Heath Ledger!

that movie barely had what you would call a limited release!!!

you idiot. the movie is not the book. and the book is not the movie. you can't watch a movie based on 500 pages novel fits in 2 hours. i personally think that twilight movie is great. not as perfect as the book but it's awesome. have you seen an adapted movie copied exactly just like the book? so just shut up your damn mouth. 'cause you can't even make a movie and you can't even act.

I am really surprised that The Hulk was not mentioned as one of the best movies of the year. It should at least have beaten out the Indy movie which was entirely forgettable. The Dark Knight will go down in history as the movie that changed what a "comic book" movie can be. No I'm not drinking the Heath Ledger Kool-Aid but I can give credit where credit is due. The man stole the show.

I can't believe that Kingdom of the Crystal Skull is not on the worst movie list. It was a huge turd of a film.
