Not much other than a few good special effects and a decent ending. I wouldn't see it again.

Very good movie. 44 year old MomI took 4 year old and 7 year old boys . After reading reviews thought it may be hohum. Now I am wondering who in the k;knn is reviewing this movie with the negative comments. This was a really good movie, especially for the family. It had action, great plot, made me laugh and cry and leaving the theatre feeling good and good that I showed the kids a good time. I rarely watch a movie twice, but if I could have I would have watched this movie again tonight. Definitely plan to buy the DVD. Tiny bit of blood, the violence it shows is kind of meaningful in a good way in comparison to what you see even in seconds of watching a commercial on tv. It shows caring and people sticking together for goodness and each other. A must see for everyone.

I ACTUALLY LOVED IT AND SO DID MY FAMILY.! it was sad and cute but the ending would be better if the girl remained dead.

I hated this movie and so did my son. Im 42 and he is 17 so that tells you right there. Its is cheezy and stupid. I even laughed at parts that were suppose to be serious. Its is just not good.

Ok people, listen to me, I will tell you something. This movie, is... fictional! (gasp) yeah, I figured that out when a prophecised saber tooth decides NOT to eat a perfectly tasty human! And crazy old ladies with sticks aren't really magical, no matter how much vikodin their on. It is a story of the first hero of mankind, who learns the truth about a society ruled by a false prophet who enslaved his family and friends. I think it's worth seeing ^_^ so go see it! or i will bite you. o_O

I go to a movie for pure escape-ism. It doesn't have to be historically correct or technically perfect. This wasn't the best, nor the worst. It was just eye candy and the classic boy becomes hero and gets girl stuff. It took my mind off of crappy reality for a while, that scores with me.

It was decent and average. The special effects were fun to look at and it was good for a laugh at the incredibly messed up timeline. Mesopotamia (one of the first civilizations) was around 7000 b.c. and ancient Egypt (which is where those amusing pyramids come from) wasn't until 3150 b.c. The mammoths are correct though, thank goodness for that. As far as everything goes, it's decent to watch once.
