So the timeline rather confuses me. The earliest city that I am aware of dates from 9,000 BCE, and they didn't have pyramids (which came several thousand years later to Mesopotamia and then later to Egypt). Corn was domesticated somewhere around 5,500 BCE, and they didn't have corn in Mesopotamia or Africa. At least they did have woolly mammoths and saber-tooth tigers back then, though I don't know what their geographic area was. So anyway, I don't know why they called it 10,000 BC, if it clearly is implausable. I thought the dreds and the well-groomed eyebrows of "the blue-eyed one" were funny. I kept expecting to see Raquel Welch. It would have been a waste of money if it hadn't been so entertaining in its badness.

I've been going to the movies once a week for three years and often before that. This movie is the most trite and childish movie I've seen in all that time. There isn't one original line in the entire movie. It appears to have the intellectual intensity of a five year old or fifth grader, take your choice. Every aspect aspect was lifted from some past movie. Apocalypto, Star Wars, Jason and the Argonauts, Jurassic Park, Lord of the Rings, and in each case the writer reduced those movies to childish bore. This is THE WORST MOVIE of the decade. Wait until it comes out on DVD to waste your money.

after reading the reviews i think i will pass on this movie, but i have to say at first i thought this movie was going to be just as great as apocalypto. i;m glad i read the reviews first.

I have walked out of only one movie ever....Mystery Men...I almost did the same, only to stick with it with my 9yr old son. Battlefield Earth was better...sad to say.

I thought it was a good movie. It was better than other movies I seen in the past few months. I think it was better than Will Smith's movie "I am Legend".

First, the movie sucked. Ok, so that's clear. But what ticked me off is the fact that they billed this movie as some cool prehistoric movie with tons of monsters, quasi-dinosaurs and all kinds of other eye candy. It was certainly not that. It was some lame ripped off story line stolen from the incredible movie Apocolypto. I don't mind movies being unrealistic and impossible, but lame

THIS MOVIE WAS BAD FROM THE BEGINNING BUT WE HELD OUT BECAUSE SOMETHING GOOD MIGHT HAPPEN. UNFORTUNATELY, NOTHING DID AND IT WAS DIFFICULT SITTING THROUGH SUCH A STUPID, BORING MOVIE. A TOTAL WASTE OF TIME....GOT TO BE UP FOR THE WORST MOVIE OF 2008.....AND 2007! HEAVY EYE MAKEUP ON THE WOMEN, NEATLY TRIMMED GOATEES ON SOME OF THE GUYS....I WAS WAITING TO SEE WATCHES SHOW UP.
