couldn't take it, did not make it through the last 50 minutes, the only thing that was sort of thrilling was the special effects at the beginning with the four legged beasts nearly stomping people to death, after that the film held NO interest for me..........the good news, when I checked in to the movie theater there was no one to rip my ticket in half so I can return the whole ticket for a free movie next time...............or better yet, I could look at it like this one was free because it sure did not deserve to be paid for

It was alot like apocolypto with a touch of gladiator. Shock of shock I enjoyed it, so did my family.

I've been going to the movies once a week for three years and often before that. This movie is the most trite and childish movie I've seen in all that time. There isn't one original line in the entire movie. It appears to have the intellectual intensity of a five year old or fifth grader, take your choice. Every aspect aspect was lifted from some past movie. Apocalypto, Star Wars, Jason and the Argonauts, Jurassic Park, Lord of the Rings, and in each case the writer reduced those movies to childish bore. This is THE WORST MOVIE of the decade. Wait until it comes out on DVD to waste your money.

Wonderful family movie. Wife and I took our 9 year old son. This was a real thriller that the whole family could enjoy. Great special effects and great fantasy story line. I would strongly recommend this movie to anyone looking for a fun yet thrilling movie with less violence then most movies out there.

Hoping for some great CGI (which to its defense has good moments on that end) and a Conan'ish type of story, this movie was a total dud! I felt like a baby in a car seat, head constantly bobbing, trying not to fall asleep...Add to the mix its lack of character development and bad acting, and you've got yourself a Big Crap!

I hated this movie and so did my son. Im 42 and he is 17 so that tells you right there. Its is cheezy and stupid. I even laughed at parts that were suppose to be serious. Its is just not good.

It was just awful. I was actually looking forward to this, and I could not have been more disappointed. The acting was awful, the story was awful, the script was awful. The only redeeming quality were some of the special effects.

I have walked out of only one movie ever....Mystery Men...I almost did the same, only to stick with it with my 9yr old son. Battlefield Earth was better...sad to say.

It wasn't great but I enjoyed it nonetheless. Of course it was corny and even silly but what do people expect from this director. I actually liked this better than his other movies. This had great special effects and a romantic (yes, sappy) story and I felt the pace was good. It's told like a legend and I liked that. I guess I was entertained because I wasn't expecting Art or anything. - I give it a B-

Horrible to the core, bad dialogue and camilla belle should get a razzie for her bad performance.
