Oh what a breath of fresh air 27 Dresses was. I truly need to see this movie. I have been watching everything that comes out lately in hopes of a glimpse of what a movie used to be, but have been let down almost every time. Remember when going to the movies was fun? When you would enter the theater with anxious anticipation, like you were stepping on to a amusement park ride? And all the while knowing that the next two hours you were going to be on great adventure, that would leaving you feeling happy, hopeful and completely satisfied. Well this movie may not be oscar worthy but it is absolutely a must see. I walked out feeling refreshed and excited about things to come. Great performances by Katherine Heigel and James Mardsen. And the plot may be a tad perdictable but it goes exactly where you want it to go. I'm smiling just thinking about it. So, in the wake of all these depressing, bloody, violent story's that Hollywood is craming down out throats, please go and take an afternnon to laugh, smile and maybe even love a little. :-)K.M.

Jim and Katherine were both sooooo cute! It is a fun movie for girlfriends to see together. I love to watch a movie that puts you in a wonderful mood, made me want to go home and kiss my husband!

Great movie to see on a Friday evening after work with the girls. Easy to relate to, especially because we'd had a recent family wedding. Much better than any I've seen within the last few months. I don't go often, but pick and choose if a movie looks and sounds appealing. This one did, and I would see it again.

Lately, most romantic comedies tend to fall flat on there...you know what, but i actually found this charming and more than tolerable. Don't go expecting Gone with the Wind, but sit with an open mind and a feminine enthusiasm. My bet is that most men will not appreciate this movie because it has so little to do with them in general. The movie targets women as its core audience anyhow. If you are a woman with a husband or boyfriend, i'd suggest taking one of your girlfriends as they will have more fun and won't resent you. If you are a man with a wife or girlfriend you are looking to impress, it's a good date movie for sure. I didn't adore this movie, but i thought it was very sweet and it deserves a place on my movie shelf next to While You Were Sleeping and French Kiss.

OK, I admit that I went to see this movie as a fill-in at the multi-plex, something to get me from "Cloverfield" to "There will be Blood". So I wasn't expecting anything more than some decent comedy with an attractive young woman whose work I've seen and admired before. I'm also a long term disillusioned romantic, which is to say that I understand why critics don't go for formula romantic comedies, just not much appeal. All that said, I really enjoyed this movie. I found some of the humor to be excellent, ROFLMAO stuff. Others in the theater laughed hard in different spots, depending I suppose on their own feel for the ironic. Kudos to the whole cast and crew, honestly. Katherine H. carries the story with real human energy. Displaying great talent and expertise at expressing a wide range of emotions while appreciating how they each add to the comedic rythym, she makes her character into a person with whom anyone, male or female, can identify with ease. She deserves respect and gratitude for her efforts to lighten the burdens of many women through her graceful comedic talents. I can only say that she gave me some wonderful laughs and partially revived my love of romantic adventure. More power to you, Katherine. With Love and Respect, Peter
