I think the thing people should try is to get into the character's mind and put yourself there. In real life everyone says stupid things and does... pid things and so why shouldn't the main characters behave that way. So don't worry about these people that go into a movie with a negative outlook because thats how you will view it. The two guys i went with talked during the whole movie and said it was awful and didn't make sense. But then again they never really gave it a chance when they start making fun of it in the first scene. And when we talked about inconsistencies, turns out they just weren't paying attention. Watch it for yourself and see what you think. I thought was a good movie that had a unique view of vampires. The vampires were done really well and there are parts of this movie that just stick with you after you see it. Full Review
