Based on a historical event, but, missed the mark as a historical film. Acting was too over-the-top and mellodramatic for my taste. Kinda like watching those WWF wrestlers trying to do Shakespeare. The Persians were potrayed more like the Orcs in Lord of the Rings rather than actual human beings.

i normally do not go for this kind of film but a friend of mine showed it to me and i couldnt take my eyes off of the screen. it was excellent from the start to the end.

When it came to family, honor and integrity, 300 men were the first to stand in what they believe and were taught to always keep as their priority. 300 men, and 300 alone stood up for their lifestyle and fought to protect their ways. If you want to see what loyalty is all about, definately view this movie, as you will see. Action packed, meaningful and unforgettable, scene by scene, you will see the amazing strength of the Spartans' morals

Totally awesome.I'm buying the HD DVD when available to continually watch the expolosive action. You won't take a cat nap during this man-sized flick. Favorite line... Spartan warrior to King Leonidas, "The earth is tremoring, earthquake!!! King Leonidas to Spartan warrior. "Its not an earthquake.....its the Persian army approaching. Prepare for battle". FIVE STARS!

I tried them about 3 months ago, based on reviews. They offer a wide variety of condiments for the burger but it tasted like an unseasoned burger with alot of stuff ontop. Give me an in-n-out anyday, and their burgers are less expensive. I guess I have to go back west for that, so I'm still searching for a good burger in Atlanta. We'll see!!!

Honestly. You know the old cliche about the book being better than the movie? About halfway through all the (cardboard) doom and gloom I found myself musing, "Y'know, knowing Frank Miller, I'll bet the comic book is better than this." So I walked out. Drove over to the local book store and concluded the saga.

300 is one of the greatest realtime war action movie's of all time along side in your face movie's like Gladiator and Braveheart which will alway's stand the test of time no matter what anyone say's, they all have a sense of brute humor, blood and gore, and superb acting.

i never seen so many men buff the way they were . it took alot of training to get that buff gerald butler is buff anyway and in the movie he took my breath away it been long time since i have seen a body like his i hope to see lot more of him and his body
