it was a great movie! favorite western movie ever! and there wasn't bad violence! one of my favorites!

Sorry to give away the ending, but it made no sense at all. Crowe's character is a bad guy being delivered to the prison train while meantime his gang is trying to rescue him. But we must believe that Crowe's conscience is bothering him because right when he is being rescued he seemingly has a change of heart. How changed? He proceeds to slaughter his own loyal gang members who have been risking their lives to help him and then cheerfully jumps on the prison train to go off to jail while hinting he will soon escape. Completely stupid and senseless!Seems like Crowe's past success has gotten to his head. Gladiator is one of my all time favoorites, but this one stinks!

this movie rocks, it shows that westrens can still make for a amazing movie. christan bale and russell crowe make this movie a should be award winner

Incredible...(Don't read if you haven't seen this) The Christian Bale character exemplifies what it is to "walk the walk." No need to preach, just live it and others will change. Russell Crowe' s character's life is changed when he see's someonewilling to risk death for his convictions. In the end, he would rather die righteously than return to his sin. Powerful sermon -who knew!?

Best Western I have seen in a long time. I love the Charles Prince character. He was awesome. His horse even matched his pants.

The Movie was really good up till about the last 20 minutes. The ending is so ridiculous and stupid its laughable. The movie was an 80/100 before the last 15 minutes, the last 15 minutes was a 00000/100. Its like they could not think of an ending, and just put together the ending with little or no thought process.

PLEASE For the Love Of God! Note that in your freaking title! I came here, not to argue with anyone about the plot points in the movie, But to see if it was worth watching, and now, I know the Freaking Ending!I dont care if its a re-make, or an original, its just common sense and courtesy to mention the fact you may be saying more than someone interested in seeing the flick wants to hear.
