An original story inspired by actual events, Raj Nidimoru and DK Krishna's 99 blends fact with fiction while following a group of people who are all stuck at a 99 in life. The year is 1999, and on the verge of the new millennium everyone feels like they're one digit away from realizing their dreams. From small-time crooks to young lovers, all of the colorful characters face the biggest obstacles in their lives amidst a historical controversy.
