A Christmas Eve tradition in our home for decades. We quote from the movie all year long.

It truly is the best holiday movie and yet it hasn't been shown on television for at least rwo years in my area. Only Alastair Sim's Scrooge is worth watching. I guess that I'll have to buy the Christmas classic.

having been born the year this movie came out i have been watching this movie my entire life. this movie has been the highlight of the Christmas season for me. as a child sitting with my little sister in front of our 12 inch black and white t.v. watching the transformation of scrooge from the evil miserly old man to the champion of tiny tim made christmas come alive year after year. i still watch the show with my children and at times have to search day after day to find it on a local channel. my kids are grown now and they call me when they find it on a channel that they can watch and let me know that they are watching and thinking of me. i also call them and let them know when i have found it and let them know that i am watching and thinking of them. they by the way were as surprised as my sister and i were when we discovered the face in the mirror and wait for it whenever the scene approaches. what is christmas. its a rebirth of faith and a look back to a simple time when christmas was how it still lives in me, full of life, family and joy. i will keep chistmas throughout the year not just one day but all the days as it was intended to be. great job on a great movie and long may it play. P.S. merry Christmas and God bless us everyone
