Enjoyed the movie. Thought the story was well told and understandable. Their was no overacting by any of the characters.Very realistically done.Whole cast well acted and there was nooveracting. The story is more documentary and is not made to be a Hollywood story but a realistic story.Angelie Jolie was perfect with her dialect, mannerisms and was a ideal casting . Told a good story about terrorism and the suffering of peopleand families.LYNDA DIAMOND :)

As another writer/reviewer says: I also looked at my watch. Horrible accent by Jolie. More of a documentary; save your money.

"A Mighty Heart" Bombed for two reasons.First, the majority of the movie audienceare young people between 18 and 25 andthey would rather see Agelina swinging]from a rope, than a human interest story.Second, Hollywood has shot themselves inthe foot because the've shoved so manyaction and adventure movies down theirthroats that that's all they want to see. That is why you don't see too many gooddramas anymore. Young people like action.

This movie put all three of us who saw it today asleep several times and it was in the afternoon! This movie is so boring and slow. It is a sad true story but should not have been made into a feature movie. A TV docudrama would have been much better.

What makes this story so compelling that it had to be made into a movie anyway? It's obvious that it's because Daniel Pearl was Jewish; which in some way makes him hero. Thousands of soldiers have died in both Afghanistan and Iraq, tens of thousands of if not hundreds of thousands of civilians have been killed, including other Westerners who were abducted and subsequently beheaded, but Hollywood feels that this story in some way stands out . . . because he was a Jew. Ignore everyone else and immortalize a Jewish reporter.

I'm sorry but it was too dragged out. It was more of a documentary then a movie. It was one of the worst films I have seen this year.

Sorry folks, I felt this movie was boring and could have been a made for TV movie, and this Oscar worthy performance that everyone is talking about for Angelina Jolie, I've seen better, her performance, to me, was not all that it was hyped up to be.

And I'm not talking about the pies! This movie was funny, touching, inspiring, and well written. No ~ it's not a guy flick. But it's a movie a guy can like. It's a thinking man/woman's comedy/drama. So it's not for everybody.
