Ann-Margret\'s birthstone is the Emerald. An emerald doesn\'t sparkle and dazzle like a diamond, but it has its own radiance just the same. Just like Ann-Margret herself does in this story. While every... one else revels in the creative abandon that calls itself reality television,Ann-Margret excels at this character study of how force of will and strength of character can overcome deceit and betrayal. Tula, the central character here, finds stronger loyalty and devotion from righteous friends than her own family, who are shown to be devious and underhanded. Sadly, this is not just a work of fiction,as many elderly who become disabled are exploited and mistreated, often by close relatives and unethical caregivers. Ann-Margret could have done well in soap opera roles like \"All My Children\" or \"Days of Our Lives\", and it shows in her performance in this story. Full Review
