Synopsis

This program is part of a PBS series that takes the viewer to some of the world's wildest and most scenic places. In this episode, the vastness of Alaska is explored. Alaska is one fifth the size of the entire lower 48 states. Within its boundaries, there are forests, glaciers, and rivers that are home to rivers, ranging from eagles and moose to caribou and grizzly bear.
