    New York Daily News

Despite early promise for a semi-interesting examination of teenage obsession, the film devolves into a standard, and not thrilling, body-count builder. And the “twist” ending is one of the more annoying in recent memory. show more

    Richard Roeper Chicago Sun-Times

It clearly aspires to be something more than another story about empty-headed teenagers in a remote cabin who get picked off one by one in gruesome fashion — but at the end of the day, that’s pretty much what we’re getting. show more

    Peter Keough Boston Globe

Despite moments of black comedy and some memorable images, this “debut’’ doesn’t offer a lot to love. show more

Like far too many modern horror films, All the Boys Love Mandy Lane flaunts its knowledge of classic genre fundamentals but fails to do anything very clever or surprising with them. show more

While some of the kills are sufficiently clever and gnarly, "Mandy Lane" is never particularly frightening. show more

Levine shows some of the promise that would serve him so well later, but beyond an intriguing look and an initial attempt to put a new spin on the teen-horror genre, “Mandy Lane” winds up being pretty conventional. show more

    Scott Tobias The Dissolve

There’s an overlay of gender politics, but it isn’t so firmly ingrained in the material that it transforms Levine’s throwback ’80s slasher film into a much nobler, more thoughtful endeavor. show more

Anything with Amber Heard in it ricks my world! One of the most beautiful, talented and under cast actresses in Hollywood. This movie was made 4-5 years ago and may have had limited release. I bought it on Amazon.com 18 months ago and enjoyed it. Well worth watching.
