I saw this movie last night, it was phenomenal. There were many parts in the movie where you could not help but laugh and it was funny how "high" all the guys acted. I couldn't believe what happened though and wonder why I never even heard the about the story on the news after all these years. The characters Frankie and Zach had such a bond that it hurt when you see how it had to end. No matter what anyone says, you won't be disappointed. I'm still thinking about every single moment in the movie.

I didn't know what to expect when I entered the theater to watch this film. It interested me because I love films based on true stories. The reason why every teen should see this movie is because it shows how easily a person's life can get COMPLETELY RUINED by drugs and alcohol. Moreover, having 22 neices and nephews, I know that most of the ones that are teens don't think that smoking pot is a big deal. They also don't think that underage drinking is a big deal. This film will shatter the "cool" image of smoking weed and drinking alcohol. It is a gut-wrenching dramitization of what can easily happen when you get mixed up with these influences, and the influence of peers. Peer pressure is another issue that is prominent in this sad sequence of events. The movie is absolutely haunting, and the thoughts and images it left in my mind make me want to get the word out that this film should be shown to EVERY high school student. Truly it should be required viewing. Go see it and bring your teens!

A movie based on a true storie is not good or bad...it's reality. If you watched the movie closely it wasn't just about smoking weed, parties and alcohol. It was about pride, respect and power. Johnny TrueLove could not handle the fact that he was not as tough as he thought he was...and had to prove it. He stood scared in the dark when they trashed his house...revenge is all he seeked. He got beat up in his own home, had his house trashed with him in it and was out of $1,200. It should teach us all a lesson that none of those things are worth spending the rest of your life in prison...you will get caught!!!A lot of their parents were to blame in my opinion...they were just as irresponsible as the teenagers. Growing weed in the backyard, and not wanting to listen to their child, because sex is more important. It's not just a lesson for teens but for adults as well.I feel so bad for the parents and I only hope that this movie helps them feel comfort by the message it is trying to send out.

all in all this movie was pretty good, although some of the teenage scenes arent realistic but I know people like the characters in the movie. Its kind of confusing and you might have to go back another time to actually get whats going on cause the most important parts go by really fast
