Plot

Composer Antonio Salieri (F. Murray Abraham) is content with his talent and status until his musical rival, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (Tom Hulce), comes to Vienna. Salieri can't understand why God has blessed Mozart, and not himself, with amazing talent. His jealousy grows until, finally, he acts upon it.
