As chilling as reading "In Cold Blood." This movie is so powerful and painful because it's based on true events. Catherine Keener and Ellen... Page do a great job of truly capturing the essence of this story. I hope this movie can be used as an example of what we as humans should do to prevent things like this from happening in the future. We have voices that we should use when others are being abused. It's so heart-wrenching to know the pain that Sylvia Likens endured. Great movie! ******* could have been released in theatres instead of strait to DVD. Full Review

Ellen page in this movie was amazing. This story was very chilling and bringing it to the big screen just brings forth some terrible tragedies that... ccured during this time period to some of our youth. This was an excellent movie based on a horrible, horrible tragedy. Even today, makes you really look at who you leave your kids with. Full Review
