This movie was too far fetched for me. It took too many turns and twists it keep me on the edge of my seat! The place was packed but the story to me did not make sense. Now that I have your couristy, go see it.

DyingxSilencex13 You say it is not a sequal but a prequal, You are mistaken,,,Yes the book came out first but the the " Da vinci code" as a book was a prequal to the book " Angels and Demons" there fore DVC was made first as it took place first in time. LIsten to the dialough Langdon has already made the vatican mad but the events in the DVC..

After reading the book I was excited about the movie but after watching the movie was very disappointed it drifted from the book on the key points.

Saw movie on 5/16.... five-stars from me. Exciting and plenty of adventure incorporating science, myts and religios with plenty of interesting plots. The Professor was right on time along with the intrigue of science and anti-matter.

Having read the book twice, I enjoyed it so much, I was eager to see the movie. I liked the movie even though there were parts that wandered from the book. My wife who had not read was engrossed with the whole movie. Glad I saw and was not disappointed.

Awesome movie! I was on the edge of my seat the whole time!! Not a DiVinci continuation though. Excellent story line though and lots of suspense. Thank you Tom, for another great entertainer!!

The synopsis on this site is very wrong. Angels and Demons takes place BEFORE the DaVinci Code and was written AFTER it. Try having someone ******** the books or watched the movies do the synopsis next time....

The movies was horrible! If you've read the book... You WILL be highly disappointed.... From the beginning of the movie they didn't even remotely follow the story line.... One movie I wont go out of my way to see again....

And of course the catholics are up in arms and want their like-mindedless faithful to go into theatres and start shouting as the movie runs. That ought to increase ticket sales to the film and/or (at least here in Brooklyn), get some of them pummeled into what might resemble angel food cake. A nice rowdy protest -- this ought to make the studio very pleased!

Hey Bat - your suggestion of Vincent D'Onofrio is an excellent one!! I'd never thought of it, but he could have fulfilled Langdon's role beautifully! Nothing against Tom Hanks, but your comment shed a bit more of an interesting light on the subject. Vincent is an excellent actor. Tom is....well...Tom, but again, I'm not dissing him. Tom is one of my absolute favorites. Ron Howard, on the other hand....ehhhhhhh....
