the movie was great, the main preist played by Ewan McGreggor was the bad guy, and the illuminati doesnt exist, he wanted to be pope. the end.

I was actually disappointed in the movie. Although I thought it was better than DaVinci Code, they made too many important changes that had a negative impact for me. Leaving out all the great story at the beginning regarding CERN led to a boring ending. And worst of all the villian was totally unconvincing. Really seemed like a wimp compared to the evil maniac in the book. I can't even imagine why they chose that actor to play that impartant part. He looked like a weighed 100 pounds soaking wet. How could he have done all those bad things to the Cardinals. I'm not buying it. And what happened to all the sexual chemistry between Langdon and Victoria? Maybe Hanks just isn't Robert Langdon. I still think it was worth going to but all the plot changes took away from what could have been a great action movie.

I was very disappointed in this movie. I was really looking forward to it after having read the book twice but there were just so many changes. It is a given that some things in a book will be changed in a movie for the plot but I think they changed too many important details. It didn't even seem like they read the book. How could they change the fact that Vittoria's father is killed and not just her research partner or even that the last cardinal was also killed not saved as in the movie. I think they did the book a total injustice and Dan Brown should not have let them do this to his book.

A suprisingly good film I was expecting much less. Thouroughly enjoyable and suspenseful. Loved the plot. Ron seemed much more forgiving of the Catholic church this time around. I don't know whether it was guilt or what but along with every dark stone unearthed about the Church there seemed to be a following moment of light. Interesting. Honestly, I felt as though the film was more balanced. It's fine to find fault in anything ******** better to find that balance. It just makes the scary stuff, well, even scarier, because these bad things happened in defense of something that should have been good. Make sense? The first film made the Vatican out to be dark and vengeful, the balance was not really there. The big problem was the question of having faith in something that Tom was running from the entire film. You know? Angels had a better idea. It let you think about that faith and make your own decision, as did some of those characters. I liked that. It made me uneasy and grateful for my faith.

I thought this was a very intertaining movie and the time spent went by very quickly........Although at some level I felf slight disappointment.....I am not sure why....perhaps it was all the hype preceeding the movie.....but I will certainly buy when it comes out on DVD to add to my movie collection. The combo of Ron Howard and Tom Hanks is always (in my opinion) worth the price of a movie ticket. I would rate this lofty endurvor 4 out of 5. Linda Rae

This movie exceeded my expectations. The story was very compelling and I thought that it was much better than the DaVinci Code. Tom Hanks' acting skills only seem to get better with age and when he teams up with Ron Howard, you know it's going to be a great movie. I usually get restless after 2 hours but the time went by very quickly. I'm not sure why this movie is considered controversial by some Catholics. I'm not Catholic myself but I went with two devout Catholics and neither one of them seemed to find it offensive. I definitely think it's one of this year's "must sees!"

Amazing movie, more suspenseful then the first, two movies Da Vinci Code and Angles and Demons both have their own style, both are different but suspenseful and leaves the viewer on their seat, Ron Howard as director is artful, and Tom Hanks as leading role is without flaw, and Ewan McGregor as supporting actor is without a doubt a fabulous performance. Recommended to everyone, after all it’s a story and entertainment not based on truth and fact. I give it 4 out of 5 stars! The set looked real, the events seamed real, will be in the top ten movies of the ye

Much less credible than the first one but much more entertaining.

There's no question that this movie was well worth the ticket price; something I can't say for many movies in recent years. There was literally never a dull moment in this film, but I did feel that they tried to cram a bit too much into one movie. A few too many manhole covers, pointing angels and bells tolling the death of a cardinal for the story to remain totally believable, but it was full of energy and kept my interest.
