Plot Summary
The lives of several people revolve around the search for a missing youngster. Ryan (Dane Cook) is a therapist who is having an affair and pulling away from his wife, Kate (Elizabeth Mitchell), who desperately wants a baby. Meanwhile, one of Ryan's clients (Kali Hawk) begins a tentative romance as she copes with feelings of racism, and Ryan's mother (Barbara Hershey) clings to the foolish belief that the husband who abandoned her will return one day .

  • The result is a diligent brand of gloom. When it isn't being diligently gloomy, it's being obvious. When it isn't being obvious, it's being sneaky, and when it isn't being sneaky, it's marching toward a climax of B-movie violence, stupidity and nuttiness that summarily bumps off the movie's least annoying character. show more

    I found the different characters as they were introduced, were hard to sort out in the beginning, but if you like a story with many characters/ stories that connect by the end, this is for you! I thought it was a dark drama, I liked the not so cliched story.
