I've come a long ways from that young man watching a VHS tape at home with the adults. Some kind of war movie, they said. Lots of action and cursing, which was cool to a kid. This is one of the first films that introduced me to the power and beauty of a single frame. The trip into madness is one of the most memorable experiences I have ever had watching a film. Performance wise everyone was on top of there game and everything else was flawless. By far one of if not the best film ever made, a must see for film lovers.
